Update FTL: Hyperspace on Linux

Updating is quick, and your saves are not affected.

1. Download FTL.Hyperspace.x.xx.x-Linux.zip from the latest release.
2. Replace the Hyperspace.*.so file in your FTL folder with the one for the same FTL version, either Hyperspace.1.6.13.amd64.so or Hyperspace.1.6.12.amd64.so. Keep only one.

Not sure which version you are on

Launch FTL and read the version from the bottom right of the main menu.

Leave the LD_PRELOAD line in your launch script alone, unless the filename changed.

Running Multiverse?

Keeping Hyperspace current matters most for Multiverse players, because Multiverse always builds against the newest Hyperspace. After updating, run your mod manager again and re-patch Multiverse. Saves survive this.
