Update FTL: Hyperspace on Windows

Updating is quick, and your saves are not affected.

1. Download FTL.Hyperspace.x.xx.x-Windows.zip from the latest release.
2. Replace Hyperspace.dll in your FTL folder with the new one, along with any other DLLs in the ZIP.

You do not need to roll FTL back again. 1.6.9 stays 1.6.9.

Check you are still on 1.6.9

Launch FTL and read the version from the bottom right of the main menu. Anything higher means Steam updated the game and put back its own FTLGame.exe, so roll it back before replacing the DLL.

Running Multiverse or other mods?

After updating hyperspace, check for the newest versions of the mods, download them and then run your mod manager again and re-patch Multiverse.

Running other Hyperspace mods?

If a mod ships its own Hyperspace.ftl, re-patch that too. Multiverse is the exception, it should never have Hyperspace.ftl patched alongside it.
